Our client is an Irish PQS firm providing professional services to both public sector clients and private developers.

Seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to be based in their regional office located in Limerick.

To manage all financial, legal, and contractual aspects of diverse construction projects across the Munster region.

Working closely with public and private sector clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Prepare initial cost estimates, feasibility studies, detailed bills of quantities, and comprehensive project budgets.

Manage the procurement process, prepare tender documents, and evaluate commercial submissions from contractors.

Administer standard forms of construction contracts, ensuring strict compliance with legal and statutory regulations.

Conduct regular site valuations, manage variations, track project variations, and prepare monthly cost-control reports.

Agree on final accounts with contractors, sub-contractors, and clients while resolving any commercial disputes or claims.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (Level 8) in Quantity Surveying or a closely related construction discipline.

Active membership or working towards Chartership with the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) or RICS.

Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in a professional quantity surveying (PQS) or main contractor environment.

Strong proficiency in industry-standard software, including Buildsoft, Cubit, CostX, or MS Excel.

Solid understanding of the Irish construction market, BC(A)R regulations, and public works contracts.

Public Works/Healthcare project experience highly desirable.
