Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor - Mayo

Our client is a 50 year well established building and civil contractor based in Co Mayo They work on a wide variety of projects within the construction industry from commercial, large scale residential, retail builds to civil engineering projects

They have an immediate requirement for an experienced quantity surveyor to join the team:

Preparation of tender documents for subcontractor appraisal

Analysis of tender returns.

Cashflow production and analysis.

Managing subcontractor applications and accounts.

Familiarisation with Contract documentation.

Cost Reporting.

Contract administration.

Dealing with the Clients Design team.

Requirements

Degree in Quantity Surveying

5+years’ in a Quantity Surveyor role working with building/civil contractors .

Strong communication skills.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint etc.

Possess ability to work well as part of a team and independently

Must have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Package

Salary €55k - €65K negotiable based on qualifications and experience

Fulltime permanent staff role with a strong order book
