Rolling Stock Engineer

Location: Dublin

Employment Type: Contract 

Work Location: Office based / Hybrid

Pay: Contract Rate 75 - 85 per hour

Experience: 10+ years experience, at least 3 in Rail rolling stock environment

Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Our client is a large multinational EPCM consultancy that undertakes works in the highway and public realm and transportation areas.

Provision of auditing services covering the following areas: 

1) Rolling stock maintenance process and activities carried out by the Luas Operations and Maintenance Contractor (the “Operator”); 

2) Operator’s adherence to overall annual maintenance plan and implementation of robust Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS);

3) Control processes for replacement of new parts and overhauls;

4) Operator’s subcontractor control processes;

Provision of independent professional reviews of the Operators technical modifications to current rolling stock configuration (either modification at component level or service/process).

Monitoring of tram vehicle health, lifecycle cost tracking, maintenance planning, and support for asset replacement strategies.

Qualifications:

Chartered engineer, with a minimum qualification of NFQ Level 8. 

A minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience, at least 3 of which were in a railway rolling stock environment. 

Package:

Contract role, 5 year contract 

75 - 85 per hour
