Our client is an award-winning, ISO-certified architectural practice that specialises in the design and delivery of high-performance data centres and mission-critical facilities across Ireland and Europe.

The Senior Architectural Technologist will play a lead role in the technical delivery of large-scale, complex data centre projects from detailed design through to construction handover.

Responsible for producing high-quality detailed technical drawings, specifications, and tender packages using Revit and BIM software.

Coordinate extensively with external consultants, particularly structural and MEP engineering teams, to ensure seamless integration of complex building services. Ensure all designs comply with Irish Building Regulations, BCAR, and rigorous client specifications for mission-critical infrastructure.

Lead technical workshops and design review meetings with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve technical queries, and ensure adherence to the design intent and quality standards.

Mentor and support junior architectural technologists and BIM modelers within the team. Drive innovation and technical excellence by implementing the latest BIM processes and sustainable design practices to achieve LEED or BREEAM accreditation where required.

Requirements

Degree in Architectural Technology (or equivalent)

5+ years of post-graduate experience, with proven experience working on data centres, pharmaceutical facilities, or large-scale complex commercial projects

Highly proficient in Revit and Navisworks, with strong experience operating within a BIM Level 2 environment

Comprehensive knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR, and statutory compliance Excellent technical detailing skills and the ability to resolve complex design issues Strong communication skills and experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
