Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Eastwall, Dublin

Our Client is a leading engineering consultancy based in Dublin city centre, offering engineering design, project management and construction related safety and health services on large scale commerical projects.

Responsible for the design and implementation of electrical building services installations on buildings projects

Ensure that building services are coordinated within themselves, and with other building activities and installations

Ensure all required approvals (statutory, regulatory, client and company) are in place as and when required

Ensure that specialist electrical sub-contractors work strictly complies with Safety Management system

Assist in ensuring that the M&E contractors provide and adhere to a fully resourced programme that meets the requirements of the overall schedule

Monitor, co-ordinate and control the flow of Building Services design information to ensure the timely release of information for construction activities

Review design information and advise of any design shortfalls

Ensure information released to subcontractors is in line with the specification/ contract

Ensure designs and details produced are economic and do not exceed budgets and comply with agreed quality expectations

Ensure designs are validated on completion of the works

Plan, witness and record activities required as part of the agreed and approved testing and commissioning process

Requirements:

Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering/Energy System

Min 6 years’ experience Electrical Services Design roles

Previous experience on large scale commercial and industrial building projects 

Excellent communication, presentation and people management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & Project

Package

Excellent salary depending on level of experience. 55k - 70k
