Senior Engineer - Civil Contractor - Louth

Office/Project Location: Dundalk Louth

Pay: Salary €65k - €75k

Experience: 6+ years' post-graduate experience in civil engineering

Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across Ireland.

They are working on a road realignment project based in Dundalk and seeking an experienced senior engineer with infrastructure experience.  

The Senior Engineer will manage and coordinate all site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Assist with supervision of site teams, including foremen, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring efficient allocation of labour, plant and materials.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) requirements and company procedures.

Liaise effectively with clients, designers, stakeholders, and the wider project team to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Review and coordinate technical documentation, drawings, and construction methodologies to support efficient project execution.

Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining productivity, programme targets, and quality standards.

Contribute to project planning, progress reporting, and overall project delivery.

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

6+years’ post-graduate experience.

Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects, with particular interest in roads, rail, bridges etc.

Ability to mentor junior team members.

Understanding of commercial aspects of projects.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Package

Salary €65k - €75k depending on experience
