Senior I&C Engineer - Engineering Consultancy - Dublin

Contract rate: €65 - €75 per hour based on experience

Job Description

Technical Leadership

Lead I&C design activities on multidisciplinary pharma and biopharma projects.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers.

Ensure all design work aligns with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory expectations.

Client & Project Interface

Attend client meetings and workshops to define, refine, and develop project scope.

Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Design Development

Prepare Basis of Design (BOD) documentation

Develop Detailed Design packages and construction documentation for BMS and I&C contractors/System Integrators.

Support commissioning, FAT/SAT activities, and technical queries during construction as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in an Engineering discipline

Approximately 8 years of experience in Instrumentation & Controls engineering.

Strong background in pharmaceutical project delivery.

Proven experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC automation, and process instrumentation.

Familiarity with GxP environments, cleanroom systems, and regulated industry standards.

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem solving skills.‑solving skills.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Package:

12 month rolling contract 

€65 - €75 per hour based on experience
