Senior Project Manager - Main Contractor - Nordics

Office/Project Location: Nordics (Norway, Finland, Denmark)

Pay: Salary €110k - €130k negotiable based on experience , accommodation and benefits package

Experience: 10+ years' construction experience on large scale industrial / commerical projects

Visa: EU passport required

Our client is a leading construction contractor specialising in Critical Environments such as Data Centres, Life Sciences, Aviation, High Value Manufacturing, and Critical Logistics across Ireland, the UK, and Northern Europe.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring that your project team delivers on time and on budget to the highest standard of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Develop and update the master construction programme with the Contracts Manager and ensure your project meets key milestones.

Determine staff resources for your project and communicate effectively with your team.

Implement the site Safety System and establish an excellent safety culture on your project.

Manage project quality over the lifecycle and ensure build quality meets expectations.

Ensure project costs are managed and prelims/packages are tightly controlled.

Work with the commercial team to deliver agreed commercial objectives for your project.

Maintain positive relationships with the client team through concise project controls and reporting, keeping them informed of all risks operationally and commercially, including delays and potential claims.  

Requirements

Third level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

10+ years' construction experience, with a strong background delivering large, complex construction projects.

Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver a complex project from conception to completion.

Computer literate and proficient with MS Project and CDEs such as Procore.

Strong numeracy and report writing skills.

Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders.

Understands commercial realities and proactively proposes cost-effective solutions.
