Our client is a multi-disciplined Utilities and Civil Engineering Contractor working with Local Authorities, Irish Water, Group Water Schemes, Local & County Councils.

Due to continued growth, newly awarded contracts and an extensive pipeline of work, our client are now hiring a Senior Project Manager to oversee the Delivery Operations of Water / Waste water framework projects.

This is a full- time position covering the South East region, based out of Kilkenny, working on Irish Water programme.

Reporting to a Regional Contracts Manager, the Senior Project Manager / Delivery Operations Manager, will be overseeing framework sites and ensuring the work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality by effectively organising and managing the site activities.

Lead and manage multiple projects in both urban and rural environments. 

Oversee delivery from concept through to final completion with a strong commercial awareness. 

Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, their representatives, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders. 

Draft and communicate regular project reports for both internal and client use. 

Review the constructability of wastewater design solutions. 

Coordinate effectively with internal teams, departments, and third-party providers. 

Identify and resolve issues relating to performance, scope, cost, and scheduling. 

Lead detailed project planning and resource-loaded scheduling for design and contract administration. 

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of status updates and reports to clients. 

Requirements

Qualified in construction management or related field.

Experience working with Irish or UK Water Standards (Potable & Foul) – essential 

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills 

Confident and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team 

Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines 

A client-focused approach with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
