Senior Quantity Surveyor - Construction - North Dublin

Office/Project Location: North Dublin

Work Location: 4 days per week office based with 1 day remote working option

Our client is a fast track construction contractor specialising in the healthcare, education, industry, construction and leisure industries in the UK & Irish markets.

They are seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work as part of the Senior Management team.

Reporting to the Managing Director the Senior QS will be responsible for all aspects of costs , including tendering, reporting, sub-contracts etc.

You will be responsible for a team of 3 to 4 people and the tasks for this team include the following:

Civils and General Construction experience for large scale contracts – €5m +

Public Works Contract Experience PWCF 1 to 6

RIAI Construction Contracts

NEC Contracts

Sub-Contractor Appointments

Main Contractor and Subcontractor Claims

CVR reporting

Project Cashflows

Requirements

Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar

8+ years’ experience working in the construction sector in a similar role

Manage a team of 3-4 direct reports

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
