Site Engineer - Building Contractor​ - Dublin

Office/Project Locations: Lucan / North Inner City Dublin

Employment Type: Permanent

Work Location: Site based options in Lucan and North Inner City Dublin 

Pay: €55K-€75K negotiable based on experience

Experience: 5+years with sub or main contractors

Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Our client is a leading Irish Building contractor working on Commercial & Fit-Out, Civic, Education, Conservation & Restoration, Healthcare, Pharma & Industrial, Tourism & Leisure, Residential projects.

Thy have requirements for site engineers for projects based in Lucan and Dublin City Centre

Responsible for setting out all building works.

Monitor construction regarding the quality of workmanship and materials.

Ensure that all works are carried out to specification and approved submittals.

Compile method statements as required for the execution of tasks or sections of work.

Ensure that all subcontractors & site personnel have timely and accurate information.

Implement our ISO accredited EHS and Quality systems in all operations.

Assist site management in maintaining progress on site in accordance with our programme, EHS Plan and Quality Plan..

Requirements

Degree qualified in a civil / structural engineering discipline

5+ years experience in a similar role with main or sub contractors

Good ability to read drawings, specification and reports with capability to assess issues and risk.  

Clear and concise communicator with an aptitude for problem solving and thinking outside the box. 

Capable of working on his/her own initiatives and as part of a team.

Hold a valid driving licence. 

Package

€55K-€75K negotiable based on experience
