Site Engineer - Civil Contractor - Dublin

Experience: 2-4 years' post-graduate experience in civil engineering

Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across Ireland.

They are working on a motorway and rail maintenance framework contracts and seeking an experienced site engineer with infrastructure experience.  

The Site Engineer will assist in the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of civil engineering projects to the required quality standards.

Coordinate daily site activities with the Senior Site Engineer, Site Agent, Construction Manager, Site Foreman, subcontractors and suppliers.

Carry out setting out, surveying, site measurements and quality inspections.

Plan and coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to support project delivery.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) standards and company procedures.

Assist with project planning, scheduling, progress reporting and maintaining accurate site records.

Monitor productivity, material usage and plant efficiency to support cost control.

Contribute to engineering innovation, continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.

Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.

2–5 years’ experience in a similar role.

Experience on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar engineering software.

Experience using digital project and information management systems.

Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a project team.

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and professional development

Package

Salary €45k - €55k depending on experience
