Site Manager - Building Contractor - Dublin

Office/Project Location: Dublin

Pay: €65K-€80K negotiable based on experience & qualifications 

Experience: 5+ years in similar role working with main building contractors 

Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Our client have a proven background in pre-construction, value engineering, project and construction management and provide complete project delivery solutions. 

Construction Projects across a diverse range of commercial, life science and residential apartment buildings.

The Site Manager oversees the daily management of either a large construction site or multiple smaller sites. 

Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals efficiently.

Skilled in planning, organising, and executing construction projects within scope, time, and budget.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders, clients, and team members.

Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve on-site challenges effectively.

Team-oriented approach with the ability to build strong working relationships.

Comprehensive understanding of construction methods, materials, and the latest building regulations.

Expertise in implementing and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple site operations concurrently.

Confident and effective in making sound decisions under pressure.

Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.

Ensuring quality standards are met in every aspect of construction activities.

Strong interpersonal skills to foster cooperation among diverse teams.

Capable of adjusting to changes in project scope, schedule, or unforeseen site conditions.

Requirements

Relevant third-level education or trade qualifications.

Ideally 5+ years’ experience working in a similar role within the construction industry.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

In-depth knowledge of current building regulations and certification standards.

Experience working with both main contractors and subcontractors.
