Our client is a leading Galway Building Construction Contractor working on the delivery of Commercial, Educational, Healthcare and Residential projects throughout the West.

They have requirements for a site manager for a newbuild educational project.

Lead daily site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Manage subcontractors, tradespeople, and suppliers on-site.

Ensure compliance with Irish building regulations and Health & Safety standards.

Monitor project progress and report regularly to senior management.

Coordinate site meetings with clients, engineers, and design teams.

Oversee quality control and maintain company standards on site.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager, Site Foreman, or Construction Supervisor, ideally with a main contractor

Strong understanding of Irish building regulations, BCAR and modern construction methods.

Comfortable using IT Tools and construction management platforms.

Ability to manage subcontractor packages effectively.

Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.

Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
