Steel Detailer - Tekla or StruCAD - Kildare

Our client is on of Ireland's leading structural steel fabricators and work on exciting high value projects.

They have a large facility where they provide design and manufacturing services. 

Due to increased workload, they are looking for a skilled Tekla Detailer to join the team.

In this role, you will be required to product GA drawings, fabrication details and BOM’s using Tekla 3D. 

You will be required to create 3D models and fabrication drawings from your site surveys, architects drawings and structural engineers detail. 

You will be office based however there may be need to meet with customers from time to time.

Liaising with different teams and customers

Requirements

3+ years experience working within structural steel in construction, from secondary steelwork, staircases, mezzanines, to industrial & agricultural portal frame buildings. 

Experienced using Tekla and/or StruCAD to produce drawings

Effective communicator

Must able to work on own initiative and as part of a team

An understanding of cladding systems would be an advantage, but not essential.
