Civil/Structural Design Engineer - Cork City

Our client is a leading Cork based engineering, project and design firm.

They provide a range of developments from small to multimillion-euro projects in the Residential, Commercial, Retail, Hotel & Leisure, Education and Industrial sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil & structural engineering with a focus on structural design and analysis with circa. 2 years+ experience in a similar role, who is looking to grow and be mentored by a chartered engineer, to aid them to become chartered.

Site Visits

Managing Budgets

Client Communication

Deal with technical enquiries from internal and external customers.

Prepare structural calculations.

Liaise with suppliers regarding technical matters.

Technical presentations

Requirements:

Level 8 Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

2 years+ minimum experience in a similar role

Full Irish Driving License – preferred but not essential

Living or relocating to Cork

Local knowledge of Cork area and/or experience with an Irish firm a distinct advantage
