Our client is a leading Irish Civils contractor who possess ISO9001 accreditation and continually lead the way in integrated services and support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out utility, topographical, and engineering surveys to support construction and infrastructure projects.
This role involves working on-site and in-office to collect, analyse, and present accurate survey data while ensuring compliance with industry standards and
health & safety requirements.
Locate and map underground utilities including water, gas, electricity, telecommunications, drainage, and sewer systems.
Carry out utility detection surveys using CAT & Genny and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) equipment.
Produce accurate utility drawings and survey reports in line with PAS 128 standards.
Mark out underground services on-site prior to excavation works.
Conduct topographical surveys to capture land features, levels, buildings, roads, and boundaries.
Perform setting out for civil engineering and construction projects.
Support infrastructure, drainage, and utility installation projects with accurate survey control.
Carry out CCTV drainage surveys and inspections.
Assist with site investigations including trial pits and borehole setting out.
Record and report drainage defects and underground asset conditions.
Process survey data using AutoCAD, GIS, and other survey software.
Produce detailed survey drawings, maps, and technical reports.
Maintain accurate digital records and survey documentation.
Ensure all surveys are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures and industry regulations.
Follow safe digging and utility avoidance practices.
Conduct site risk assessments and maintain high safety standards at all times.
Liaise with engineers, contractors, utility providers, and local authorities.
Support project teams with survey information and technical advice.
Requirements
Experience in utility surveying, topographical surveying, or civil engineering surveying.
Knowledge of PAS 128 standards and underground utility detection methods.
Proficient in the use of surveying equipment including GPS/GNSS, Total Stations, CAT & Genny, and GPR.
Experience using AutoCAD, GIS, or related software.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and organisational abilities.
Full driving licence
Combination of field-based and office-based work.
May involve travel to various project sites.
Occasional evening or weekend work depending on project requirements.
Package
Salary: DOE (Depending on Experience)
Annual Leave: 21 Days
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
